About Alexis Raghunandan MS, MHC-LP

I’m passionate about supporting mental health and helping people grow, heal, and navigate life’s challenges. Beginning therapy is a courageous first step, and I’m honored to walk this journey with you. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where your needs come first, so you can gain the most from our work together. Together, we’ll navigate the ups and downs, celebrate progress, and stay motivated as you move toward self-healing.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and have experience in a clinical hospital setting, maternal mental health, and group mental health practice. My specialties include anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depressive disorders, trauma, stress management, parenting challenges, and life transitions. I work with young children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, and couples, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs.

I typically draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). I’m committed to being patient and supportive as you begin your path toward self-healing. I look forward to working with you!
