About Nicole Schullo, MHC-LP
Nicole is an MHC-LP who brings warmth, empathy, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for growth to her work with children, adolescents, and adults. With a background in both education and mental health, she understands the importance of meeting clients where they are and creating a supportive space where they feel truly seen and heard.
Before becoming a therapist, Nicole worked as a teacher—an experience that continues to inform her understanding of development, learning, and the power of connection. She holds two master’s degrees: one in Education from DePaul University and another in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University.
Nicole’s therapeutic approach is integrative and personalized, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She helps clients build insight, develop practical coping tools, and reconnect with their inner strengths. Nicole believes that with the right kind of support, everyone has the ability to face life’s challenges and move toward greater fulfillment and emotional well-being.
Known for her compassionate and grounded presence, Nicole is deeply committed to creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, life transitions, or relationship concerns, she walks alongside them with care, curiosity, and respect.
